Glossary - Persuasive essay

is an essay aiming at convincing the reader to accept the essay writer's point of view. The argument of persuasive essay should be strong, supported by solid facts, logical reasons, bright examples and reliable quotes. These essays have the following structure: introduction, body paragraphs, opposing views, and conclusion. Confidence and intention of the essay may be strengthened by explaining and then refuting the opposing views. Persuasive essay writing should have such steps as brainstorming, investigation, reading, thinking and organization.
